The hostel is situated about 2 kms from Szögliget village, in the middle of the forest.
It can accommodate 60 people. It is equipped with a kitchen, a spacious dining and community room, and shared bathrooms.
There are two three-bedded rooms with own shower, a six-bedded, and six eight-bedded rooms. The larger rooms are furnished with bunk beds.
Self catering only, but hot meal is available in the kindergarden on advanced booking (Tel.: +36 48-464-048) and in the Ménes pub.
A 2.5-acres yard garden is attached to the building that is ideal for camping.
Nearby sights include: the Ménes Pond, the ruins of Derenk village and the Szádvár fort ruins.
